MTP® attenuators, as a passive components, are used in optical networks in order to reduce power of the signal without changing of signal character. They are placed in the optical patch without any additional components. Plug attenuators offered by Sylex are high stable in wide temperature range. Attenuation can be at customer defined dB levels. Sylex offers them in two versions - trunk type and MTP® Plug & Play cassette type.
