WDM - DoubleCap
Single mode WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexer) is used to combine or separate 1310 and 1550nm band signals, with very good isolation of wavelengths and low insertion loss. This way of doubling transmission capacity of optical fiber rapidly reduced cost instead of installing new fibers to the existing network.
