Vibration Sensors
To measure vibration we can offer Strain gage sensors, which can be in single configuration or connected in chain of several sensing points. We offer also installation kit that allows fast and easy installation of Strain gauge sensor.
The Strain Gage SG-01 is the fiber optic equivalent of an electrical strain gage. The Strain Gage SG-01 can be mounted directly on the surface of a structure by means of an adhesive. In this way, the fiber sensor makes direct contact with the surface and therefore measures directly the strain at the surface. Installation of the optical Strain Gage happens preferably by means of the Sylex Strain Gage Installation Kit (SGK-01).
The Strain Gage Chain SGC-01 is a s spliceless chain of several fibre optic Strain Gages (SG-01) in series. These Strain Gages are the fibre optic equivalent of electrical strain gages. The Strain Gages can be mounted directly on the surface of a structure by means of an adhesive. In this way, the fibre sensor makes direct contact with the surface and therefore measures directly the strain at the surface. Installation of the optical Strain Gages happens preferably by means of the Sylex Strain Gage Installation Kit (SGK-01).
The Strain Gage Installation Kit allows a fast, easy and reproducible way of installing the fibre optic Strain Gages SG-01 and the fiber optic Strain Gage Chain SGC-01 to various surfaces. Installation of the optical gages happens using a patented methodology which makes use of a specially designed, reusable mounting tool called a sensor pad.
