The UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is a global plan for improving our world in the domains of people, planet and prosperity. It lays out where we collectively need to go and how to get there. Sylex uses the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined in the UN Agenda as a guideline to shape its approach and scale up its contribution to the areas that matter most to society and where we can achieve the greatest impact. During a mapping exercise, we listed how our 4 focus areas contribute to the SDGs.The decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9) goal, Responsible Production and Consumption (SDG 12) and Climate Action (SDG 13) goal.

Reduce landfill trash through office and minimize use of Styrofoam™ cups.
Within this sustainability pillar we focus on energy and drinking water consumption, waste and packaging. We monitor our energy and water usage, we seek to recycle and reduce waste to the best possible extent. We are also exploring more environmentally friendly packaging, including carton pallets and paper packaging tape, and we have plans to install / have installed a well for watering the greenery on our premises.
